Live Generously
We provide a program to train middle school students in Biblical generosity. Students develop their generosity goals, meet with multiple non-profit leaders, and collectively decide which organizations to bless.
How it works
Students are given $5,000 to steward
A school will be put in charge of $5,000 for students to practice stewarding and giving away well. Students will be led in generosity training and identify a few passion areas where they collectively feel called to partner with God in His work.
Explore Biblical Generosity
Discover God's heart for giving.
We want every adolescent in the United States to reflect God’s generous heart. Through understanding Biblical generosity and having the chance to apply that learning, we believe this can lay a foundation for a generous life long before their earning potential starts.
Partner with God's Work
Students will meet with non-profit representatives.
Churches, agencies, and non-profits that are doing good work will be identified and present to the students throughout the semester.
Collaboration
Students decide where the money goes
At the end of the semester, students will have a vote night in which the $5,000 grant will be divvied up and awarded to the agencies.
Where the money comes from
Training Generous Hearts provides the grant.
Training Generous Hearts provides the $5,000 to be given away. The school is not responsible for providing any money. That said, we believe giving comes alive when there is an element of sacrifice involved and so students are encouraged to contribute additional dollars on top if they desire.
